**The SAT/College writing class will
focus on perfecting your timed-writing skills for the SAT, English classes,
and beyond. The class will help you ace the 800 point Writing Section of the
SAT and help you to be a much better collegiate writer. The class will cover
the multiple choice and essay sections of the Writing component. |

** The College Essay writing class will
help you in working on your college essays over the summer in order to gain
admission to the school of your choice. All classes will include a focus on
the writing process, creative and organizational ideas for success with
essays, and developing rhetorical strategies for collegiate writing. The goal
is to complete one of the two college essays by the end of the workshop, and
to have a rough draft of the second essay.

Mr. Mooney is a College Board-trained AP English Teacher and has been teaching AP English for 10 years. He also holds a Bachelor's degree from Boston University & a Master's of Education degree.
